I purchased this can opener to replace an old Krups Open Master. I thought I would save a few dollars and try the Toastmaster. Unfortunately this opener is loud, slow, and does a poor job of opening cans. I recommending spending a bit more money on a better unit. I'll be purchasing another Krups Open Master.
